Hands-On Labs FAQ
Are the hands-on labs free?
Yes, the hands-on labs are free of charge. However, a limited number of seats are available for these sessions, and pre-registration is required.
How do I register?
After hands-on labs go live, step three of registration, titled "Sessions," allows you to preview the agenda and add labs to your schedule. If you're already registered, log in and select "modify registration" to edit your agenda.
Note: You can only add one lab per timeslot. ASUG recommends selecting labs during registration, as pre-registration is required and seats are limited.
How long is each lab?
Hands-on labs are two hours.
Please note you cannot add overlapping hands-on labs. For example, if the hands-on lab is from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., you cannot add more than one hands-on lab to your agenda.
Do I need to bring my own device?
Yes, you are required to bring your own laptop and charger to participate in hands-on labs. Power strips will be available for your use during the session. iPad or tablet devices will not be adequate for this session.
What are the requirements to attend?
- Pre-registration is required for all hands-on labs. To register, log in to your registration account with your email and confirmation number. Add available labs to your agenda. (See question 2 for more on how to register.) If the lab is full, you can select “join waitlist” to be notified if a spot becomes available.
- Prior to the start of the event, you will receive instructions on the pre-work that is required to attend.
- You are required to bring your own device to participate in hands-on labs.
Who can attend?
Hands-on labsare intended for SAP users. We ask that SAP employees refrain from registering for these labs. Our team welcomes our partner community to participate but will approve partners based on job roles.
Is there a waitlist?
If you need to adjust your schedule for hands-on labs:
- Please click “Already registered?” on the website’s home page.
- Log in to your registration with your email and confirmation number.
- Click the “Post Registration” dropdown and select “Confirmation.”
- Click “Modify Registration” and adjust your agenda.
How do I cancel my registration or change my schedule?
Waitlists will be created once a hands-on lab reaches capacity. To join, select “join waitlist” under the select button on the sessions page. You will receive a waitlist confirmation email stating that you were added to the waitlist.
If a spot becomes available, you will receive an email notifying you about the open spot. If you are interested, please log in to your registration account to reserve your spot. Please note that you will have one business day to reserve your spot.
